Methane-Fueled Buses Destroyed in Rome Depot Fire

A fire destroyed around 30 mostly methane-fueled public transport buses at a depot in Rome in the early hours of October 5.

The fire broke out at around 4:15 am at a depot belonging to ATAC, Rome’s municipal transport company, the Vigili del Fuoco, Italy’s fire service, said.
