Meghan Markle's Friend Abigail Spencer Celebrates Lifestyle Brand with Guest Appearance by the Duchess' Dog!
The 'Suits' alum posed with a jar of American Riviera Orchard strawberry jam in a new Instagram post
Meghan Markle’s jam just received the latest stamp of approval from her inner circle.
The first release from the Duchess of Sussex's latest project, lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, made its way into the hands of Abigail Spencer, one of Meghan's close friends. The actress raved about the strawberry jam in a post on Instagram on April 21.
“This jam is my jam,” Spencer, 42, wrote alongside the post, which featured a photo of her posing with the jam, artfully displayed in a bowl. “A delicious taste of what’s to come indeed… love you so M🍓🌱🍋🫶🏽.”
In the next two photos, the Suits alum enjoyed the sunshine as she lounged in the grass with the bowl, which presented the jam alongside lemons and flowers, and even snuck in some cuddles with a dog that looked remarkably similar to one of Meghan and Prince Harry’s own pups.
In the comments, fans were quick to note that the dog in the photos could be Guy, a beagle who Meghan adopted in 2015. It’s also possible that Spencer’s furry friend is the senior beagle the couple adopted in 2022, Mamma Mia.
Regardless, fans were excited by the glimpse into Spencer and Meghan’s friendship — and another look at Meghan's emerging brand.
American Riviera Orchard will officially launch later this spring, PEOPLE understands. In March, Meghan, 42, unveiled the brand’s website and Instagram account, and then began sending jars of a limited-edition strawberry jam to some of her A-list friends. Among the stars who have received a package so far are Mindy Kaling and Tracee Ellis Ross.
A source told PEOPLE that the brand will “reflect everything that [Meghan] loves — family, cooking, entertaining and home décor.”
"This is something she’s been wanting to do for a while. She is excited to share her style and things that she loves."
According to a trademark application, Meghan is seeking permission to sell cutlery, cookbooks and jarred food products.

Along with her lifestyle brand, Meghan and Harry, 39 recently announced that they have two nonfiction series in production with Netflix. One will be curated by Meghan and will "celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship," while the other will "provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo," a sport that Harry has played for decades.

In February, Spencer stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show and reflected on the beginnings of her years-long friendship with Meghan, which began in 2007, as the pair “immediately had a connection.”
“I was doing a pilot for NBC, and I went to read with the people who were supposed to play my best friend. They were testing other actresses,” Spencer recalled. “I walk in, I see this beautiful gorgeous creature at the end of the table and I'm like, ‘Who is that?’ We had an immediate something, you know? And her name is Meghan Markle.”
“It was just something between us,” she continued, recalling their time together on Suits. “Our friendship really developed during that time, and deepened. She’s an incredible person."
