- Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry and their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, were able to celebrate Mother's Day with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, this past holiday weekend.
- The family reportedly adhered to social distancing guidelines for the get-together.
Duchess Meghan was able to reunite with her mother, Doria Ragland, just in time for Mother's Day.
According to OprahMag.com, Meghan along with Prince Harry and their one-year-old son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, were able to celebrate Mother's Day in Los Angeles with Ragland. A source shared that the family remained cautious of social distancing guidelines during the family get-together.
Ragland has remained a steady presence of support throughout Meghan's life and especially during her transition in and out of royal life. Ragland was the only family member of Meghan's who attended her and Harry's 2018 nuptials; she also flew to London from California ahead of her grandson Archie's birth.
Since the Sussexes' Stateside move to Los Angeles, Ragland was reportedly the driving force behind the couple's decision to volunteer with Project Angel Food, an organization that delivers food to ill individuals at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Meghan and Harry were spotted back in April delivering prepared meals, emergency kits, and nonperishables to people too sick to shop and cook for themselves.
Ragland has reportedly been a lifelong influence on the Duchess of Sussex when it comes to the concept of giving back.
"Meghan didn't have much when she was a child, but her mom made sure they always gave back," a source previously told People.
