  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared details of their plans to step down as senior members of the royal family on Saturday.

  • The duke and duchess also posted an update on their website, SussexRoyal.com.

  • A Buckingham Palace statement explained on behalf of the couple, "As agreed in this new arrangement, they understand that they are required to step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments."

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's lives are about to majorly change.

In a statement, Queen Elizabeth revealed that she supports Meghan and Harry's "wish for a more independent life." And in a follow-up statement, Buckingham Palace explained several things that will change for the Sussexes, such as the fact that they "will no longer receive public funds for Royal duties." But one thing that remains unclear is whether or not the duke and duchess will continue to use their Sussex Royal brand.

On their official website, Meghan and Harry revealed, "In line with the statement by Her Majesty The Queen, information on the roles and work of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be updated on this website in due course. We appreciate your patience and invite you to explore the site to see the current works of Their Royal Highnesses."

For now, at least, it looks as though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to use their Sussex Royal online presence. But as BAZAAR.com's Royal Editor At Large, Omid Scobie, noted on Twitter, "Details, including security and using the name 'Sussex Royal' will be shared in due course."
