If you were looking forward to marathoning Meghan Markle's new Netflix show this week, I have some unfortunate news: With Love, Meghan has been postponed due to the L.A. wildfires, which continue to rage on this week.

Meghan was poised to make her on-screen comeback this month on her new cooking show, but she announced on Sunday that she would be delaying the premiere until March in the wake of the horrific L.A. fires. "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California," she said in a statement announcing the news.

Meghan, who currently lives in Montecito with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, is a Los Angeles native. And while she doesn't currently live in an evacuation zone, living near the fires is stressful enough without having to promote a high profile television show.

In the meantime, Meghan has already switched her focus to helping victims of the fires. It was reported last week that she and Prince Harry had welcomed evacuated family and friends to their home, and this weekend the ex-royal couple spent time volunteering in Pasadena—alongside celebrity chefs José Andrés and Roy Choi—and meeting with victims. (Note: Roy is among the celebrity guests featured in Meghan's upcoming show.)

While the duo kept a relatively low profile, Pasadena Mayor Mayor Victor M. Gordo later told Pasadena Star-News that they met with first responders and were "great people." He offered one anecdote, revealing that, while distributing food at the Pasadena Convention Center, Harry met a man who asked for a donut.

"[Harry] says, 'There's no donut here, but I will find one,'" Gordo recounted. "He takes off, and 10 minutes later, he returns with a donut." According to the mayor, the man didn't seem to recognize Harry, but told him, "If you ever run for anything, I'll vote for you."
