All this to say, the royal swapped the classic power suit for another equally compelling and chic look to attend Highbrow Hippie’s Los Angeles launch party on November 14.
Instead, she opted for a more business casual look, wearing a strapless, skin-baring black corseted top from Khaite. The top featured a classic sweetheart neckline and coordinated with a pair of matching straight-leg trousers. Meghan completed her look with strappy black sandals, stud earrings, and a gold chain pendant necklace.
At the event, the Duchess of Sussex was photographed embracing Highbrow Hippie founder and celebrity hair colorist Kadi Lee. Meghan is one of Lee’s several A-list clients, which includes the likes of Julia Roberts and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The royal’s support for her friend goes beyond attending the event; she’s *also* backing the haircare and wellness line as an investor. “Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that,” Meghan recently told InStyle. “I am so proud to invest in her as a friend and as a female founder.”
