Megan Thee Stallion reignites feud with Nicki Minaj on new 'diss track'
Megan Thee Stallion has seemingly reignited her feud with Nicki Minaj in her latest "diss track".
Earlier this year Minaj took aim at the 29-year-old in her song, Big Foot, and now the WAP hitmaker has appeared to respond to the rapper, 41, in her new single Rattle.
The fallout between the two began when the Grammy winner seemingly mocked Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty in her track Hiss.
Among the many barbs, she sings: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”
The lyric references a US law change that has made information about registered sex offenders available to the public. It basically outed Petty’s history to the wider public and led Minaj and her husband to be on the receiving end of controversy and bad press.
Petty has recently been put under house arrest after failing to notify his neighbours that he was a registered sex offender.
Ever since, the rappers have traded barbs back and forth - and it seems they aren't stopping anytime soon.
In Minaj’s song Big Foot - the title referencing Tory Lanez shooting Megan in the foot - she sings: “You know I got a lot of tea, I went easy on you.”
According to Minaj, Megan lied about being shot.
And now Megan appeared to hit back at Minaj’s cryptic comments, rapping: “Ain’t got no tea on me, this h** think she tmz” on her track Rattle.
If the subtle dig wasn't enough, she took it further by appearing to target Minaj’s personal life, saying, "Worry about your man and your kid. Your life must be boring as f***".
In light of Rattle’s release, fans are convinced lyrics are a clear dig at Minaj.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Megan Thee Stallion is attempting to boost her album sales by dissing Nicki Minaj, a tactic commonly used by new female rappers. Additionally, Megan's music is sounding the same, with her latest song 'Hiss'.”
“Is Nicki Minaj now on the clock guys??? Looks like Megan thee stallion dissed her,” another penned.
A third added: “Nicki Minaj in bigfoot: You know I got a lot of tea, I went easy on you. Megan thee stallion: ain’t got no tea on me, this h** think she tmz.
“She then said, ‘worry bout your man and your kid. your life must be boring as f**k’ Kelsey has two kids, no one. It's about nicki.”
