Meek Mill, Jay-Z help surprise Patriots owner Robert Kraft with Bentley for his 80th birthday

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft turned 80 over the weekend, and received a great birthday gift from some of his high-profile friends.

Kraft received a special drop top blue Bentley from rappers Meek Mill, Jay-Z, and Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin and others.

Meek Mill shared the video of their surprise on his Instagram Monday morning, which showed Rubin walking Kraft out of his home to find the car waiting for him.

The car is apparently one that Kraft has wanted for quite some time, but as Rubin said, was something he’d never buy himself.

Kraft’s relationship with Meek Mill started through Rubin, and grew as he worked to get the rapper freed from prison in 2018. The duo, along with Jay-Z and others, helped launch the Reform Alliance, a group working toward police and prison reform around the country.

While the group of friends can appear unusual or unlikely, it’s clear that they are as close as ever before — and are willing to pull out all the stops to come up with a tremendous birthday surprise.
