Reneé Rapp appears to be less than thrilled by Jo Koy’s Golden Globes monologue.

In a new TikTok for Today with Hoda and Jenna, the four Mean Girls stars Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Avantika and Bebe Wood, shared their “in” and “out” trends for 2024, which prompted Rapp to reveal that one of her “outs” happened at Sunday's big awards event.

“My outs… First is the man that yelled at me this morning at 8 a.m. and told me to smile. Go to hell,” Rapp said. “And also my out was the man that was making a bunch of jokes about women last night at the Golden Globes.”

The actress was seemingly referring to Koy, 52, who made a quip about Barbie being “based on a plastic doll with big boobies” among some other jokes that elicited frosty responses from the celebrity audience during his opening monologue.

Taylor Swift also didn’t seem amused by another quip made by Koy about her having “fewer camera shots” during the Globes than at an NFL game. He played off the jokes with a comment about how he only “got the gig ten days ago.”

The comedian received mixed reviews online and on social media with some calling a few of the jokes he made “sexist” on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many people in the comments of the Mean Girls TikTok video also praised Rapp for bringing up the moment.

One commenter wrote, “Renee calling out the sexist jokes at the golden globes when they had Barbie winning awards is the best part of this 🫡,” while another said, “jo koy u done pissed off regina mf george count ur days buddy.”

Others praised Rapp for “keeping it real as always” and many called for others to “stan” her for “calling out” the comedian.

However, some others, like Whoopi Goldberg defended the comedian noting that “these hosting gigs are brutal.” She added, “If you don’t know the room, if you’ve not been in these rooms before, and you’re sort of thrust out there, it’s hit or miss… but I do know [Koy’s] as good as it gets when it comes to stand-up.”

Despite some of the social media backlash, Koy told PEOPLE that he would “love to” host the award show again if he had more time to prepare, “with five months, not nine days.”

He noted that the crowd was “great” overall said, “We're back. Hollywood was closed. It's back open again. Let's just celebrate. They're eating, drinking, having a good time. 150 countries were watching. They saw how much fun we had.”
