McDonald's New Taylor Swift-Inspired Meal Is Making Swifties Mad
Swifties, we hope you're hungry because McDonald's just launched a Taylor Swift-inspired meal that's absolutely adorable. Called the "Bestie Bundle," the meal includes two Junior Chicken sandwiches, two small fries, two small fountain drinks, and two friendship bracelets.
McDonald's says they created the Bestie Bundle to celebrate friendships and the moments that make them special.
"We brought our guests the Bestie Bundle because we know that our favorite McDonald’s orders bring friends together. With the Bestie Bundle, we invite best friends everywhere to share a meal with a little something extra to remember it by,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Canada.
There are five different friendship bracelet options available, and they all feature cute sayings like “Live Laugh Big Mac” and “Share fries l8r?".
But before you drive to your nearest McDonald's, there's one tiny problem for Americans: the Bestie Bundle is only available in Canada. And let's just say that some Swifties are feeling super jealous of our neighbors to the north.
A TikTok shared by McDonald's Canada that features the bracelets is filled with comments from U.S. customers pleading for a Bestie Bundle of their own.
"Is this only in Canada?? America is on fire right now…I need a little bestie bundle of joy," one fan wrote.
"WHAT I WOULD GIVE FOR A MCDONALD'S FRIENDSHIP BRACELET BUT NO ITS GOTTA BE IN FRICKEN CANADA," another user added.
Overall, this comment seems to sum up how we're feeling here in the U.S. right now: "Cries in American."
