McDonald’s Releases New Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry Just in Time for Summer

The limited-time dessert includes banana, strawberry, and Kit Kat pieces and will be available starting on July 10

Step aside, Grandma McFlurry! The Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry is the new kid on the block.

On July 8, McDonald's revealed its latest candy-inspired treat, which will be available on July 10.

The limited-time dessert blends vanilla soft serve with real banana bits, strawberry clusters, and Kit Kat pieces.

New and unique McFlurry flavors have popped up over the years, like the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry in April 2023 and the Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry in August 2023. But the home of the Big Mac most recently rolled out the Grandma McFlurry on May 21.

Described as containing "delicious syrup" and crunchy candy pieces — "like grandma's favorite treat that she hid in her purse!" — with vanilla soft serve, the Grandma McFlurry is meant to be "sweet — just like grandma."

Panera is also making customers feel sweet, adding new menu items to its "Big Treat Menu," inspired by TikTokers' love for treating themselves to a small snack.

The new, limited-time CinnaTops are just one of the over-the-top items on the viral-inspired menu, which first became available on June 28. The summer item takes a frosted cinnamon roll and tops it with one of three choices: candy cookie, choco chipper cookie, or fudgy brownie.

If fans prefer a little protein in their sugary breakfast, the "Big Treat Menu" has just the item: the CinnaScramble. This breakfast sandwich can be ordered with bacon or sausage and includes scrambled eggs and American cheese stacked between cinnamon rolls.
