Mayci Neeley Reveals Where She Really Stands with Whitney Leavitt After “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”
Mayci Neeley opened up about her relationship with Whitney Leavitt on the 'Whine Down' Podcast with Jana Kramer
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Mayci Neeley is opening up about her "cordial" relationship with MomTok member Whitney Leavitt after the show's premiere on Sept. 6.
In an interview on the Whine Down podcast with Jana Kramer on Sept. 29, Mayci opened up about the friendships within MomTok, noting that "most of us are good." However, she noted that "one girl in our cast [is] not too good," seemingly referencing Whitney.
On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the ongoing tension between Whitney and the rest of the MomTok members came to a head when she decided to skip out on Mayci's Baby Mama launch party.
On the series, Mayci confronted Whitney at Mikayla Matthews' birthday party, telling her she felt it was "selfish" of Whitney when she didn't show up.

During the podcast, Mayci revealed that since the show's premiere, she and Whitney are "cordial" with each other.
"I don't think we're even a fraction as close as we were when we started the show. because of everything that transpired at the end and her not supporting me," Mayci explained. "I'm not gonna be [in a] a one-sided friendship."
While Mayci said she felt bad for the "heat" Whitney was getting online, she is still not close with her.
"It's been really hard for her, and I totally understand where [Whitney]'s coming from with all that," Mayci said. However, she said that she is still not close with Whitney because of "certain things that she did publicly, like, posting our text online."
After the show premiered, Whitney took to social media and posted screenshots of her texts to Mayci days before the launch party, where she told her she wouldn't be coming. However, Mayci explained that she received the texts while filming and that Whitney can be "very impulsive" and "changes her mind very often."
"So I read that text, and I was, like, 'I'm filming; so I don't wanna respond. And I don't want to tell the girls what you just said because I knew they would be pissed.'"

Despite viewers believing she was the "moderator" and "blindly loyal" on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Mayci clarified that while she wasn't as harsh with Whitney on the show, she also wasn't completely supportive of whatever she did.
"There was things that were cut [from the show]," she explained. "I very much would be, like, 'hey. listen, you need to figure whatever is going on.' I was very open with her too. I definitely called her out for certain things"
Mayci also defended herself over criticism that she was "playing both sides" throughout the season, noting she was "just trying to live [her] life" during filming.
"I was just trying to survive, to be honest."
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
