Many families in India are in mourning, after a massive fire struck hospital's maternity ward there.

At least 10 infants died in the blaze, which broke out at 2 a.m. in the state of Maharashtra, although some newborns were saved.

This man, Raj Kumar Dahekar, witnessed the disaster and rushed in to help.

"The fire was huge. It was all black. We weren't able to get inside, our eyes were burning. We weren't able to see anything. Then we came down and went back up using the firefighters' ladder, broke down the door and after breaking the door we were able to save seven."
