The Masked Singer US spoilers follow.

The Masked Singer US has unmasked another celebrity, with the identity of Lips being revealed.

Lips, whose costume consisted appropriately of simply an enormous pair of sparkly red lips, took to the stage for the first time to perform Odyssey's 'Native New Yorker', but sadly their time on the show came to an abrupt end when the votes came in and they were eliminated.

Incorrect guesses from judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke included superstar singer Mariah Carey, The West Wing and Mom actress Allison Janney and Pose star Sandra Bernhard.

But two judges – Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger – were spot on with their first impression guesses and they were triumphant when Lips was unmasked as... talk show host Wendy Williams.

Following her unmasking, Williams announced: "I can't sing. I can't dance. But I know how to have fun."

She even cheekily joked about Jeong's Mariah Carey guess with the show's host Nick Cannon – who happens to be Carey's ex-husband – asking him if they will ever get back together.

During an interview with TVLine following her unmasking, the Wendy Williams Show host revealed that she was drawn to the Lips costume as soon as she saw it, saying she knew it was the one for her because "I talk for a living".

"They're beautiful," she said. "And I've got very long legs. It just stuck out. They sent me a few different pictures and immediately I was drawn to the Lips. There was no wavering."

Williams added that she didn't tell a single person that she was taking part in the show in order to ensure that it stayed a secret, saying that nobody working on The Wendy Williams Show or even any of her family had a clue.

"I do Hot Topics with a big mouth, but in real life, I know how to keep a secret!" she said. "The last thing I would want is for me to go all the way out there and all of a sudden, the Daily News prints something about 'Wendy's in LA doing The Masked Singer'.

"And then The Masked Singer would send me back to New York, and I would've gotten nothing accomplished. I didn't even tell my mom and my dad. Nobody knew! Nobody."

Famous faces already unmasked this series include retired American football player Mark Sanchez, actor Brian Austin Green and Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke, who actually decided to unmask himself in a show first.

The Masked Singer US continues next Wednesday (November 4) at 8pm on Fox. The show's UK equivalent airs on ITV.
