The Masked Singer UK unveils new character costumes for season 2

The Masked Singer UK is set to return to our screens on December 26, and we're getting our first look at all the crazy costumes.

Just when we thought things couldn't get any bigger and better, ITV unveiled 12 brand new outrageous outfits in all their glory, including an alien, a seahorse, and even a grandfather clock. There's also a sausage thrown in for good measure.

We previously got a sneak peek at what we can expect last week. A teaser video that gave us a glimpse at the new crop of celebrities in all their costumed splendour, but this is the first time we can actually zoom in and out to scour the outfits for clues (not that they're actually giving much away just yet).

The big reveal comes shortly after it was announced that the UK version of the show will be returning to our screens with a brand new judge. Mo Gilligan is replacing Ken Jeong on the panel alongside returnees Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the new addition, host Joel Dommett had nothing but praise for the newcomer as he called Mo "so good" and "brilliant" during filming.

"It was nice to have someone new in the mix. He threw out a lot of hilarious names, as did everyone. The panel is brilliant this year. We're so lucky, everyone gets along – there are no crazy divas," he added.

The Masked Singer UK will return to ITV on December 26 at 7pm.
