After episode two, here are the best guesses for The Masked Dancer contestants so far.

Who's that behind the mask? All the best guesses for The Masked Dancer 2022

Pig - Unmasked as Joanna Page

Pigs clues were all about the country and sporting achievement, but the panel weren't even sure what gender they could be. They made several references to racing and wore driving gloves - which led Jonathan Ross to guess former Top Gear host Richard Hammond as well as comedian Sandi Toksvig.

Peter Crouch guessed jockey Frankie Dettori, while Davina McCall thought the dancer was athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill. And Oti Mabuse took the country clues to mean she was Countryfile's Anita Rani.

  • Frankie Dettori

  • Claire Balding

  • Victoria Pendleton

Pearly King

Pearly King said he had strong links to the East End with lots of references to cockney rhyming slang and playing a role - convincing many he is an EastEnders actor. The letters DD were shown repeatedly around the warehouse setting - convincing many he was Danny Dyer. But Pearly King said his biggest clue was his mane.

And he said: "The panel's guesses are dire."

  • Danny Dyer

  • Shane Ritchie

  • Jake Wood

Masked Dancer Onomatopoeia

Onomatopoeia dropped big hints they were a boxer and had performed in stadiums to huge crowds. But they were also seen in a library and said they loved words. Their Argentine Tango impressed Oti Mabuse and implied they had previous dance experience.

Onomatopoeia's clue was: "My body is considered anatomically correct."

  • Chris Eubank

  • Nicola Adams

  • Thierry Henry

Sea Slug

Like Pig, Sea Slug was also gender ambiguous in their high heel and the judges weren't sure if they were male or female. Jonathan Ross was convinced the arrows in a treasure chest pointed to One Direction's Zayn Malik, but Oti Mabuse thought the treasure was an I'm A Celebrity clue and guessed Fleur East.

Fashion was a revealed to be a big part of Sea Slug's identity but they also mentioned making a splash - the name of another ITV reality show about diving.

  • Gok Wan

  • Tom Daley

  • Fleur East

Cactus's clues were all about music and rock 'n' roll. The judges all noticed a Hall Of Fame sign in the background as well as a pile of guitar plectrums. And the dancer talked about playing to huge crowds, before performing surrounded by dancing chilli peppers. Everyone thought it was a boyband member - but which band?

Cactus said: "Let's hope I won't get Busted anytime soon."

  • Matt Willis (Busted)

  • Danny Jones (McFly)

  • Ritchie Neville (5ive)

Tomato Sauce was all about cooking and food. She talked about being "literally saucy" as well as being a "staple at mealtimes." A flirty chef was first and foremost in everyone's minds, or a judge on a cooking reality show. But when she kicked off her routine to B*Witched's C'est Le Vie it was Tomato Sauce's incredible Irish dancing skills that left a lasting taste. Davina McCall observed whoever she was she had to have been learning it since she was a little girl - implying she was Irish.

  • Nigella Lawson

  • Clodagh McKenna

  • Nadine Coyle

Astronaut - Unmasked as Jesse Metcalfe
