Producers of the beloved South Korean drama "Marry My Husband" revealed that they are planning to create a Japanese version.

Straight from the source material: Studio Dragon, the production company behind the original South Korean series, announced on Feb. 14 that the Japanese adaptation will be directly inspired by the popular webtoon of the same name.

The studio shared that discussions to do the Japanese version had been ongoing even before the Korean version aired due to the popularity of the webtoon in Japan. To cater to Japanese audiences, the production team is currently working closely with its Japanese counterparts to ensure a seamless transition from the original storyline.

What's the story about: "Marry My Husband" tells the revenge story of Kang Ji-won, who, after witnessing her best friend's affair with her husband and subsequently being murdered by him, travels back in time to rewrite her fate.
