“After ‘MAFS,’ I knew there was something better in store for me,” the reality star tells PEOPLE
Married at First Sight’s Lindsey Georgoulis is engaged!
Since divorcing ex-husband Mark Maher — whom she married on season 14 of the Lifetime series in 2022 — the reality star has moved from Boston to the Bay Area, where she found the perfect partner to say “I do” to.
“After MAFS, I knew there was something better in store for me,” the Married at First Sight alum tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I took a leap of faith and a little hope and it landed me the man of my dreams.”
Her fiancé, Ray, popped the question during a trip to Cancún, Mexico, and the couple plans to wed in the summer of 2025.
“Ray surprised me during a photo shoot on the beach before [we] headed to dinner and a show,” she reveals.
The Married at First Sight star, who has been dating her now-fiancé for over a year and a half, could not be more excited.
In her own words, Lindsey is “currently thriving and living my best life and would tell anyone everything they ever wanted is possible.”
“It all starts in believing you can have it,” she says, adding that she and Ray’s lives “are filled with laughter, adventure, and we can’t wait to share the next chapter together.”

The couple, who likes to travel and stay active together, celebrated their first anniversary last July with a special dinner, which Lindsey documented on her Instagram.
Captioned “Anniversary Dinner dump. 1 year down. Forever to go,” the post shows some of the dishes that Lindsey and Ray enjoyed — and gives a glimpse into the couple’s sweet dynamic.

“Michelin dining is like art. It’s a long meal with fantastic service meant to be enjoyed and appreciated,” Lindsey wrote in the caption. “Our second date was my first experience so why not celebrate our anniversary the same way.”
In the same post, the reality show alum also shared that “Ray always likes to take videos of my reaction to our meals and watch me eat the first bite to see how I respond.”
“I think it’s so sweet and kind,” she added of her beau’s gesture.
