M&S' new spring/summer dress offering is definitely a sight to behold at the moment.

Not only has the brand just released a new collection of 15 dreamy dresses with London-based label, Ghost, but its own M&S designs are also flying off the virtual shelves.

One style in particular is selling super fast this week, and it may have something to do with its resemblance to a number worn by the Duchess of Cambridge last year.

In June 2020, the 39-year-old royal wore the Printed Yoke Midaxi Waisted Dress from M&S for a virtual online assembly for Oak National Academy.

The royal-approved £39.50 number was immediately a hit and sold out fast.

M&S has never restocked the Printed Yoke Midaxi Waisted Dress, but the British brand has now brought out new midaxi styles for 2021, which feature a similar silhouette.

The Floral Frill Detail Midaxi Waisted Dress holds many similarities to the dress worn by Kate, featuring a similar elegant midaxi length, cuff detailed sleeves and floaty skirt.

There's also the Ditsy Floral Round Neck Midi Waisted Dress, which features a similar flattering waist detail and flared skirt - it also costs a more affordable £39.50.

M&S has also created a new V-neck midaxi design, which has been elevated with button-up and ruffle details.
