Mark Zuckerberg Customized a Porsche Cayenne Into a Minivan for Wife Priscilla Chan
The Facebook founder commissioned a custom — and off-market — Porsche minivan for his wife
Mark Zuckerberg is making sure his wife, Priscilla Chan, rides in style.
The 40-year-old Facebook founder revealed on Sunday, Oct. 6, that he commissioned an off-market Porsche minivan for his wife, Priscilla Chan.
Zuckerberg posted an Instagram photo on Oct. 6 of his wife’s new Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, but hers is a bit different from the average driver’s. Chan’s has three rows, a feature not yet available for the luxury car company, per CarBuzz.
Additionally, Zuckerberg ensured Chan's vehicle had sliding rear doors and an extended frame. The second row has two bucket seats, but the number of seats in the third row is unclear.
Despite creating the minivan-adjacent vehicle, Zuckerberg customized the Cayenne’s coupe version rather than the SUV model.

In the tech founder’s Instagram post, he declared the customized car a “new side quest.”
“Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I've been designing something I'm pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. Threw in a manual GT3 Touring to make it his and hers. Thanks @porsche and @westcoastcustoms for helping to make this happen,” he wrote in the caption.
Chan joked in the comments that an added feature may unexpectedly help her down the line. “They put in a boost mode. For when I’m late for drop off???” The couple share three daughters: Maxima, 9, August, 7, and Aurelia, 18 months.
Zuckerberg’s gift seems to be the first Porsche minivan to hit the streets. The luxury brand first proposed the concept in 2018, named Porsche Vision "Renndienst.”
A Renndienst 1:1 hard model was made to demonstrate the electric vehicle’s “free variation of the family-friendly van for up to six people.” But the Porsche minivan has not yet been made for the masses.
Zuckerberg's recent gift is not out of the ordinary. In August, he revealed that he commissioned a statue of Chan to express his love in the way of the ancient Romans.
"Bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife," Zuckerberg captioned his Aug. 13 Instagram post, which also included a video of the statue in a garden.
Chan replied in the comments: “The more of me the better? ❤️.”
