Mark Ma denies he only dates rich girls
18 Sep – Mark Ma has recently dismissed allegations saying that he only dated rich girls of whom he could leech off in the long run.
As reported on Mingpao, rumours of Mark's supposed materialistic tendency sparked recently, after sources claimed that he has been living with his new girlfriend Christy, who allegedly comes from a well-off family.
He had since denied the report, saying that Christy was not a rich girl and that the house they were seen in belonged to a friend.
However, soon a man named Mr. Chan came forward to the tabloids and accused of Mark of dating another rich lady in the past by the name of Queenie - saying that Mark was using her for his own benefit. He claimed that Mark would get all the special treatments including first class hotels and business class flights all paid by Queenie but urged the said girlfriend to keep their relationship a secret.
When asked about it recently, the "Life After Death" star stated that there was no truth to the rumour at all and that he won't comment on false matters.
"I have always been low key when it comes to my personal life. I hope to protect my significant other. All I have now is what I have been working on for the past 14 years," he said.
The actor also stressed that he wants to focus on his career so that he could give his girlfriend a good life in the future.
