Marjorie Taylor Greene Yells ‘Liar’ at Biden During State of the Union Address

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene called President Joe Biden a “liar” after he said some Republicans want to end Medicare and Social Security benefits during his State of the Union address on Tuesday, February 7.

“Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset,” Biden said.

“I’m not saying it’s the majority of you. But it’s being proposed by individuals,” Biden continued.

Footage circulating online shows Greene repeatedly calling Biden a liar as he continues his speech. Other members of the audience jeered Biden for his comments.

Greene later took to Twitter to reinforce her opinion, calling Biden a “liar” in a post. Credit: C-SPAN via Storyful
