Karma is a cat that now belongs to Mariska Hargitay!

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star, 59, introduced her new cat, whose name was inspired by the hit Taylor Swift single "Karma."

"Karma is a Cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat.🐱 #MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean #KarmaIsACat," wrote Hargitay in the post's caption, which included references to the song's lyrics.

The post featured a photo of the feline resting on a bed and an adorable close-up of it licking its paw. Hargitay's costar Ryan Buggle wrote in the comments, "Please bring this baby to work." Ali Wentworth added, "My furry niece!"

Fans expressed that Hargitay is "actually the biggest Taylor stan" and noted how her cat's name "makes sense considering Taylor named her cat Olivia Benson."

Olivia is one of the pop star's three beloved cats, whom she introduced in 2014. Swift shared a video of Hargitay meeting the feline in 2015 and shared that things were "going well."

Hargitay and Swift, 33, have been public about their friendship. The actress was featured in Swift's 2015 "Bad Blood" music video. After the video won the award for video of the year at the 2015 Video Music Awards, Hargitay congratulated Swift in a sweet Instagram tribute.

"My girl @TaylorSwift. She won! So glad to be there with the #GirlSquad tonight to represent and watch you win! You earned it. #JusticeIsServed #BadBlood #BestVid #MadLove #JusticeAndCatastrophe," her caption read.

When the performer was named one of Time's 100 most influential people that year, Hargitay also penned a short essay. The singer is a "megawatt talent, an extraordinary spirit, an impossibly charming blend of impishness, poise, and radiance to spare," Hargitay wrote.

"All of it combines to rock me back on my heels every time I see her. Both literally and figuratively, she’s a woman who writes her own songs. That makes for music that’s personal, of the moment and impossible to resist," she continued.

Hargitay most recently showed off her love for the performer by sharing snaps from her time at the Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles.
