Whether she’s stunning in a silky black gown or a red plaid column dress with a black velvet shawl, Mariah Carey has yet to meet a holiday season she doesn’t absolutely conquer (yes, that includes reaping the benefits of “All I Want For Christmas Is You”). And just when we thought the undisputed queen of Christmas's wardrobe couldn’t get any better, she stepped out in what might be her best holiday party dress yet.

On Thursday, the multi-hyphenate arrived at Jimmy Kimmel Live serving some serious festive style inspiration. For the appearance, she donned a strapless black and gold sequined Balmain minidress, which she layered with a coordinating black jacket adorned with gold buttons around her shoulders. In true Mariah fashion, she piled on the sparkling accents, like a smattering of diamond bracelets, a tennis necklace, oversized black sunglasses, and, of course, a pair of her signature metallic gold sky-high sandals. It's proof that nothing says festive like sequins.

Beauty-wise, the singer-slash-songwriter went full glam in honor of the occasion with her typical bronzy makeup look with a glossy pink pout and pin-straight hair parted down the middle.

The A-lister's outing comes shortly after she kicked off the start of the holiday season. Continuing her annual tradition, Mariah posted on her Instagram page this year's rendition of "It's Time." In the video, the singer, who’s sporting a Santa-red catsuit complete with fluffy white trim, is frozen in a block of ice as a group of costume-clad ghouls work to defrost the queen of Christmas. As the clock strikes “November 1, 12:00," Mariah breaks out by singing her signature, “It’s time!”
