Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have reportedly found out how much it will cost to snare Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, and the numbers are quite simply staggering.

Rashford struggled last season, finding the back of the net just five times in 32 games. But he seems like a completely new player this term, having notched 22 goals in 35 appearances so far.

The attacker, who prefers to operate on the left wing, has already matched his best-ever season tally. He will be looking to make it 23 goals, or potentially more, when Man Utd host Leicester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Rashford has been so devastating in front of goal that other teams are changing the way they play to try and stop him. Barcelona boss Xavi altered his defence ahead of their Europa League match on Thursday so Ronald Araujo could deal with Rashford.

But that did not stop the England international. He scored one and played a big part in another goal as Man Utd picked up an impressive 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou.

Despite Rashford’s sensational form, his future at Man Utd is uncertain. On December 24, Erik ten Hag announced that Man Utd had triggered one-year contract extensions for Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Fred and Luke Shaw. Their previous deals had been due to expire this summer.

Those extensions have given Man Utd an extra 12 months to sort out long-term deals for those four players. Rashford will be the priority given how important he has been to Ten Hag this season.

But Man Utd are yet to enter advanced talks with the 25-year-old over a renewal. As such, rival Premier League sides and European heavyweights are circling.

Arsenal have Marcus Rashford interest

According to a recent report, Arsenal are monitoring Rashford’s situation due to the ‘uncertainty’ surrounding his contract status.

And as per an update from the Daily Star, PSG and Real Madrid are also interested in Rashford. Those two giants are ‘expected to lead the chase’ for Rashford, should he enter the final 12 months of his Man Utd terms.

Arsenal, PSG and Real have now discovered exactly how much Rashford will cost. The Daily Star write that Man Utd have slapped an incredible £120million valuation on him.

Rashford’s price tag sat at £80m during the World Cup. But the fact he has scored in most games since then means he is now valued at £40m more than that figure.

Man Utd have seen Chelsea break the British transfer record by spending £107m on Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez. And they believe Rashford is worth more than Fernandez.

As such, Arsenal would have to break that new transfer record to take Rashford to the Emirates. PSG and Real would also have to spend huge money to complete a deal.

Man Utd fans should not worry too much, as news of this price tag is simply club chiefs planning for a worst-case scenario. Ten Hag is still intent on getting Rashford to extend his spell at Man Utd.

They are in talks with the star over a new deal which would be worth £300,000 a week. Though, as mentioned previously, those discussions are yet to reach an advanced stage.

With Man Utd on the up under Ten Hag, it is hard to see Rashford snubbing their contract offer and pushing for a move elsewhere.
