Manny Pacquiao and Jack Ma to donate test kits to combat COVID-19
18 Mar – Manny Pacquiao recently announced a collaboration with Chinese business tycoon Jack Ma in combating the spread of COVID-19.
As reported on Pika Daily, the boxing champion shared the news on Instagram on 16 March, writing, "We're excited to announce the Jack Ma Foundation, in partnership with [Manny Pacquiao Foundation] is pledging 50,000 test kits to combat COVID-19 in the Philippines."
"With everything that's happening around the world today, there is no better time to unite and do whatever we can to help each other. Thank you [Jack Ma Foundation] for this generous donation!" he added.
No details were released as to how the two foundations came to this collaboration or how the test kits would be distributed.
