Mani Fok updates on Gillian Chung's current well-being
17 Sep – After she was revealed to have returned to work following her previous injury, Gillian Chung's manager Mani Fok recently updated on the singer's condition with the media, saying that Gillian is still recuperating.
As reported on Mingpao, Mani, who was asked about Gillian's current situation, stated that the singer's wound was still swollen when she decided to return to work and finish her scenes, and that she took some anti-inflammatory medication for one day before starting work.
"She also took care as to not aggravate the wound when she was putting on make-up in order to prevent infection," she added.
As to how the production resumed the shoot, Mani said that the director decided to shoot only one side of Gillian's face and was careful not to zoom in on her.
"Gillian will be removing the stitches soon and will stay in Xiamen for now while she is recovering. She will resume work again later," she added.
