Mandy Moore Posts Sweet Photos of Moment She Revealed Latest Pregnancy to Her “This Is Us” Costars
"When telling the fam your big news is captured on film,” she wrote of the special moment
Mandy Moore is expecting baby No. 3 — and her on-screen family couldn’t be happier!
After announcing on May 31 that she and husband Taylor Goldsmith are expanding their family, Moore, 40, shared a sweet reaction from her This Is Us costars — and That Was Us podcast co-hosts — Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan.
In a joint Instagram post shared by Moore and That Was Us, the actress posted a trio of shots that captured each stage of Brown and Sullivan’s joyous reaction to her pregnancy news.
Brown, 48, reacted by covering his mouth in shock, dropping his jaw and going in for a hug from Moore. Sullivan, 43, meanwhile, showed off a shocked expression and, in the final frame, smiled down at Brown and Moore’s embrace.
“When telling the fam your big news is captured on film,” the Tangled star wrote of the sweet shots, and Brown responded, “You got me good!!!!”
“Congratulations, my friend!!!!” the American Fiction actor added.
Moore and Goldsmith first shared news of their new addition with an Instagram post of their two sons, Augustus "Gus," 3, and Oscar "Ozzie," 19 months, holding hands.
In the sweet brother shot, the big siblings-to-be each wore white T-shirts celebrating their new sibling order, with Gus and Ozzie’s apty reading "Big" and "Middle," respectively.
"Sometimes life imitates art," Moore wrote in her caption, nodding to her three on-screen kids in This Is Us, played by Brown, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley.
“The third in our own Big Three coming soon,” she continued. “Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister.”

Moore has previously spoken to PEOPLE about raising Gus and Ozzie, which she described as a rewarding — but challenging — job.
"You wake up with endless gratitude every day, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it is hard work," she told PEOPLE in February 2023. “And the lack of sleep is something that is a constant and makes everything feel all the more challenging.”
“But, I think, it's just having grace for ourselves as parents and as humans and recognizing that each day is going to present its own challenges, but its own immense joy as well,” she added at the time.

Last fall, the Princess Diaries actress marked a another parenting milestone — and anticipated a “special” year — as her eldest son flew the coop for the first time.
"Gus just started preschool, and I feel like with all of that comes new community and new things that you do together with new friends and whatnot," she told PEOPLE at the time. "So I'm excited to just continue seeing where that leads us, and being home this year, I think, is going to be especially special."
