Mandopop star Wang Leehom returns to perform in Malaysia after four years

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 — Taiwanese Mandopop star Wang Leehom will be performing at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting this November 10 and 11.

The first concert will start at 9pm while the second performance on the next day will start 30 minutes earlier at 8:30pm.

Tickets for the 47-year-old's two nights show will go on sale this August 25 at noon.

In an announcement via their social media, organiser Casa Entertainment MY said this was part of the singer's ONE LEEHOM WANG concert.

The father of three most recently performed at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre on June 10.

This will be the first time Wang returns to Malaysia after a four-year hiatus with the last time the heart-throb performing here in 2019.

Wang returned to the stage in January after announcing he would be taking a break in 2021 following an ugly divorce from ex-wife Lee Jinglei.

In the Las Vegas concert, besides singing One which chronicles his divorce journey, Wang sang Xiang Jian Jiu Neng Xiang Jian (Meet Whenever We Want).

Written for his three children — daughters Jiali and Jiana and son Jiayao — who live with Lee, the song is about how he misses them dearly and hopes they can meet whenever they want.
