Mandatory Evacuations Ordered as Wildfire Tears Through Norco, California

Over 1,500 people, and 400 homes, were placed under evacuation orders on March 3 in Norco, California, as a wind-driven brush fire broke out and quickly grew to 100 acres, according to reports.

The fire, named locally as the Mann Fire, was concentrated in the Santa Ana River bottom, the Corona Fire Department said.

This video shows onlookers watching as thick smoke rises into the sky from the fire.
