Man vs Food star Adam Richman finds stolen priceless items in north London field
US TV presenter Adam Richman has told of finding some of his most valuable possessions scattered in a north London field after they were stolen from him at a service station.
The star had his possessions after he and the crew working on his latest show, Adam Richman Eats Britain, found their van “completely cleaned out” while stopping to use the toilet in Barnet’s London Gateway Services last month.
Among the stolen items was the 50-year-old’s last birthday card he had received from his late father and a book he had received from his mother.
But he said he has since found the items after getting an app notification that his keys were nearby.
There goes my hero…

In a video on X, Richman explained how he got the notification that his keys were in Muswell Playing Fields after wrapping up a day of filming in nearby Tottenham.
He then spent three hours with the help of a bodyguard searching the area for the items, using the sound from the tracking device on his keys to help.
The items ended up being beyond a metal fence that his bodyguard scaled over and then retrieved.
They were scattered on the ground, the food star told fans, and included his bag, glasses, a children’s book from his mother and house keys.
“There are bad people about,” he said in a social media post.
"But there are shining lights to be found as well. I found one. There goes my hero."
The Met Police has said it is investigating the theft.
The show being filmed by the star, Adam Richman eats Britain, has been described as a love letter to British cuisine.
Richman has travelled across the country trying dishes including Yorkshire Puddings, Whitstable oysters, Eton Mess and a mac and cheese doughnut.
