Man Handcuffed by Police as Election Night Protests Erupt in DC

Four separate arrests were made in Washington D.C. as protests took place while election results were unfolding on November 3, according to reports.

This footage was recorded by Sean Michael Love and shows a man being handcuffed by police and then led through crowds of protesters along Black Lives Matter Plaza.

Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser referred to the events as “largely peaceful” when she addressed the media alongside Police Chief Peter Newsham.
