Doorbell surveillance footage taken from the Turlock, California, home of Leif Barkhousen shows the moment an unknown man entered his yard and ripped a US President Donald Trump campaign flag from a pole.
Barkenhousen told Storyful the flag was stolen on Friday, September 25, and it was replaced the following Sunday. He said early on the following Monday, a 3.3-pound rock was thrown through his front window.
“My dad sleeps in a lounge chair behind the window due to sleep apnea and if it wasn’t for my moms large rocking horse taking the brunt of the impact he could have been injured,” Barkenhousen told Storyful. “A rock was also thrown at the windshield of my parents pickup and damaged it. Total damages are about $1500.”
According to reports, several others in the neighborhood also reported pro-Trump items stolen or vandalized. Turlock Police said the man in the video is a known suspect in several Trump-related thefts, the report said. Credit: Leif Barkhousen via Storyful
