Man Arrested After Allegedly Shouting Racist Slurs at Father and Son in Newburgh
A man was arrested after he allegedly hurled racial slurs at a father and son during a road rage incident in Newburgh, New York on June 11.
This footage filmed by RD McLymore Sr allegedly shows 60-year old William Ryan shouting racist slurs at McLymore and his son as he drives past in a red pick-up truck.
According to McLymore, Ryan allegedly followed them into a restaurant drive-through before pulling out a knife and threatening the pair.
In a press release, Newburgh Police Department said Ryan was arrested on June 14 for “Menacing Second Degree as a Hate Crime”.
Newburgh Police Chief Anthony Geraci added: “There is no place for hate in our community. Mr. Ryan will be held accountable for his criminal actions and deplorable speech.
