Man, 27, dies in ATV crash in Acadie Siding

A 27-year-old man has died in an ATV crash in Acadie Siding, according to New Brunswick RCMP.

The man was from Collette, a rural community halfway between Miramichi and Moncton.

According to a media release, police responded just after 7 a.m. Sunday to a call about an ATV found in a ditch on Highway 480.

Police believe the ATV entered the ditch, hit a culvert, and the driver was thrown from the vehicle, the release says.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle. An investigation is underway.

Anyone with information related to the crash is asked to contact Richibucto RCMP.
