Mammatus Clouds Fill Skies as Severe Thunderstorms Warned in West Texas

An impressive display of mammatus clouds filled skies near Gail, Texas, as severe thunderstorms were warned in the state’s west on May 17.

Bryce Finkeldei told Storyful the mammatus clouds were associated with two merging supercells.
