Mama June Shannon is making strides in her weight loss journey.

The Mama June: Family Crisis star, 44, revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that she has lost 30 lbs. in nine weeks due to unnamed weight loss drugs and is planning to lose much more.

"I still have about 74.2 lbs. to go," Shannon shared.

The reality star noted that unlike gastric bypass — which she underwent in 2015 to lose over 200 lbs. before gaining some of the weight back — weight loss drugs worked at a much slower pace.

Shannon shared that in addition to the weight loss medication, she has been working out "three to four times a week" and has taken on healthier eating habits, hoping to maintain her new slimmer figure.

In March, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum shared with PEOPLE one thing that has helped her improve her mental health: writing down her problems and then destroying her journal entries.

“I [write] it every once in a while now, but I promise you it lets so much stress just off your body, but you have to either tear it up and throw it away, or you have to delete it off your phone when you're done,” she said.

“A lot of people journal and they keep it to look back and I'm like, ‘No, that's why you're still where you're at,’ ” she continued. “You don't have to tell nobody your problem. You don't have to tell if you don't want to tell nobody. You just tell yourself, but you have to delete it. You have to rip it up every single day.”
