Malaysian working in Singapore wins RM32 million Toto jackpot
A Malaysian man working in Singapore won the RM32 million Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpot last Wednesday (14 September).
In a Facebook post on Wednesday (21 September), Sports Toto Malaysia said the winning System 8 ticket was bought in Johor Bahru.
"My wife and I are very happy that our dream has come true," the 44-year-old man was quoted saying in the post by Sports Toto.
"I would continue to work and use the winnings to pay off housing loan, buy some properties, set up education fund for children and donate to charitable organisations," he added.
The lucky punter works as a supervisor for a trading company in Singapore but lives in Johor, according to a report by The New Straits Times.
"I always bet on Toto 4D Jackpot and Supreme Toto 6/58 games just for the sake of playing, and I had never expected that I could become a jackpot winner one day," he was quoted saying in the report.
"The winning numbers – 1, 3, 9, 11, 26 and 47 are some of my favourite numbers that I often bet on," he added.
The System 8 ticket won him RM31,949,992.85 and he also got an additional RM83,856 as System Play bonus.
