Malaysian singer Stacy to hold a special solo concert at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas this month
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 1 — The prestigious Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) will be hosting Akademi Fantasia season six winner Stacy for a special solo concert this February 25.
This is part of DFP’s efforts to feature more local talents showcasing their craft through solo concerts at the hall which is known for its high acoustics.
The Sabah-born singer or her real name Ummu Shaikhah Stacy Anam's road to stardom began after winning the sixth season of Akademi Fantasia in 2008.
With multiple albums in her discography with the latest one Stacy #1 released in 2014, the Jahat singer has won a couple of awards at the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian back in 2008 for Popular New Female Singer as well as in 2014 for the Popular Female Singer category.
She had also bagged the award for Best Album Cover at the 2014’s Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) as well as Best Music Video at the 2016’s AIM.
Her songs including Pelangi Senja (2013), Bosan (2014), Gilalah (2015) and Not For Sale (2016) were nominated as finalists at the Anugerah Juara Lagu.

Meanwhile, Stacy, who had her third child, Isa, last year, said that the solo concert will mark her comeback in the music industry after slowing down a few years back.
Audiences will have the chance to experience Stacy’s 15-year journey in the music industry through some of her top hits from various genres including pop, rock, dance and ballads.
She will also be debuting a new single on that special night apart from having her husband, Akim Ahmad, a fellow former Akademi Fantasia contestant, joining her on stage for a few songs.
