Malaysian lawyer issues a letter of demand to Live Nation for ‘missing seats’ at Blackpink concert
KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 — More than 60,000 Malaysians may have enjoyed Blackpink’s concert in Malaysia, but for some, it wasn’t the good time they hoped for.
And one of them is taking concert organisers, Live Nation Malaysia to task for ‘missing’ seats.
In a viral Twitter post, lawyer Nas Rahman shared his experience of having to sit at the stairs as all the seats in his section were taken.
Nas had bought tickets for seat 37 in section 207, row G, but found seats that went up to only 36 , all of which were already taken.
He ended up standing at the entry point for a while before sitting at the stairs for the rest of the concert.
On Monday, he posted an update announcing that he has filed a letter of demand to Live Nation asking for a refund of his CAT 5 ticket costing RM488.
UPDATE:Aku dah hantar LOD (Letter of Demand) kepada Go Live dan Live Nation untuk tuntut refund harga tiket dan sedikit pampasan gantirugi.Kita tengok macam mana nanti. pic.twitter.com/BmrPXhZZxc

The legal firm owner wasn’t the only one in attendance disappointed with their seating as many shared their own bad experiences at the concert.
According to fans, seat numbers ‘disappeared completely’ allegedly due to system errors that happened after adding more seats at the last minute.
This is what happened to me and my friend yaa yesterday. Our seats were missing, asked the staff and she said there was a problem with the system during the ticketing. The seats didnt exist at all its not missing ya . Few fellow friends also faced the same problem (cont) https://t.co/QZ1UDvl5Kh

“One of my friends got an ‘invisible seat’ during the concert, so the staff told her to sit at the highest section with the furthest view of the stage.” one commenter wrote.
“She said that even if she snuck to the front of the stage that night, the staff probably wouldn’t notice.”
Live Nation Malaysia has not responded to the dispute.
A source told Malay Mail that the Live Nation team is aware of the letter of demand and will review it soon.
