A Maine State Trooper carried an 82-year-old man to safety after he was found in a ditch in Vassalboro, suffering with hypothermia and frostbite, on December 22.

At 5am police received a call that a man with Alzheimer’s had wandered away from his home in the town during a storm, prompting troopers to search the area.
