Maggie Cheung Ho Yee to make TVB comeback?
26 Apr - It was revealed that Maggie Cheung Ho Yee is set to make her TVB comeback with a new medical drama called "Behind the Tower".
As reported on Mingpao, the new drama, which is dubbed "the medical world version of The Queen of News", will be produced by the latter's maker, Chung Shu Kai, who will also be penning the script.
If it comes to fruition, this will be Maggie's first drama since her last one, "The Last Steep Ascent", which was released in 2012 and co-starred Moses Chan.
Reportedly, Maggie will play a cardiologist in the said drama, which will be filmed for four months in locations that include Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Europe.
It was back in February that Maggie took to Weibo, saying that she would love to try play a doctor in future projects, saying, "I want to play a benevolent doctor who has the ability to make patients and the world relax and laugh. Is that possible? If you have a script, please bring it to me."
She also joked that she has "thick skin", as she happily advertised herself on social media.
