Actor James Woods broke down live on air after he revealed his home was destroyed in the deadly wildfires ripping through the Pacific Palisades in California.

“I couldn’t believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long,“ Woods wrote late Tuesday. ”It feels like losing a loved one.”
He then went on CNN to talk about the wildfires, which have evacuated around 70,000 residents as of Wednesday afternoon.
The actor broke down in tears telling the story of wife Sara’s 8-year-old niece who offered her piggy bank to help rebuild their house.
“One day you’re in the swimming pool, and the next day its all gone,” Woods said, crying.

On social media, Woods criticized “liberal idiots” who supported California Democrat leaders such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom.
“This fire is not from ‘climate change,’ you ignorant a--hole. It’s because liberal idiots like you elect liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass,” Woods posted to X. “One doesn’t understand the first thing about fire management and the other can’t fill the water reservoirs.”
Woods, who is a vocal Trump supporter, also attacked the Los Angeles Fire Department Fire Chief, Kristin Crowley, who has faced criticism from Republicans due to her focus on diversity measures in the department.
“Refilling the water reservoirs would have been a welcome priority, too, but I guess she had too much on her plate promoting diversity,” Woods wrote.
The fire has caused multiple stars to evacuate their homes. So far, 70,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate, with 28,000 structures threatened.
