Mag Lam not worried about no work during pandemic

21 Sep – Although the pandemic has been tough on a lot of artistes, Mag Lam recently admitted that she is doing fine despite her work being affected by the situation.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke about the issue when she appeared for the taping of ViuTV's "Chill Club" recently, shared that she is still hanging on despite not having any income for half a year after all work was suspended.

"I know everybody is affected by this. But the economy is fine and I have my savings. I never thought about finding other jobs to supplement my finance. I am just using this moment to spend more time with my family," she said.

However, Mag did admit that she missed performing in front of the audience.

"Since my last concert, I have not been performing for a crowd. You don't get the same atmosphere with an online concert. I hope we will be able to perform live soon," she added.

As for rumours that she was battling an eating disorder, Mag said that she had lost control of her eating habits and was gaining a lot of weight that she didn't even want to know how much.

"I went to a dietitian soon after and now I am not so stressed about it anymore," she added.
