'Married At First Sight Australia': Patrick hailed as series hero for defending Belinda
Married At First Sight Australia viewers have hailed Patrick as the series hero after he stood up to multimillionaire James over vile comments about wife Belinda.
Patrick and Belinda have both been navigating their first relationship together in the series which matches couples at the altar and Belinda has spoken often about needing to move the relationship at a slow pace to feel comfortable.

But in Monday night's wine-fuelled dinner party episode, the show's contestants began to argue with each other over relationship troubles, rumours of cheating and insults thrown.
Usually quiet Belinda approached wealthy, confident James with his estranged wife Jo, but ended up in her own argument with him as she called him out on cruel comments he had made referring to her as "frigid".
While Belinda was holding her own in the row, Patrick wasn't about to let his wife have to stand up to James alone and joined the tense discussion to demand that James offered her a proper apology.
One viewer tweeted: "James.. proof that money can't buy personality. What an idiot. And Patrick..youre bloody amazing!"
Another fan commented: "Patrick the enforcer! I actually love Pat and Belinda! Powercouple if this doesnt work out stop the world I want to get off."
Someone else added: "Don't make Patrick angry.....or the Hulk will come out...."
Patrick also told James that his initial muttered apology to Belinda wasn't good enough and made James say sorry again, before Belinda decided to draw a line under the incident.
One impressed viewer tweeted: "Honestly I'm loving how Belinda and pat are coming out of their shells and calling ppl out on their bulls***. James is another textbook narc."
Patrick wasn't the only contestant standing up for his wife at the dinner party as Jake was also forced to have stern words with Bryce over his language towards Bec.
A huge argument had kicked off as Bec had told the group Bryce had confided in her that he was cheating on Melissa with a secret girlfriend outside of the show, with Bryce calling her a liar.
But when Bryce resorted to swearing at Bec and calling her names as the rest of the group turned on him, Jake told him never to talk to Bec or any other woman in that way.
One fan wrote: "James and Bryce are an embarrassment to men. Thank God for Patrick and Jake."
