KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 — The reigning Queen of Pop Madonna officially confirmed that she will be having a Celebration greatest hits tour starting July 15.

The Material Girl singer released an announcement trailer on social media platforms yesterday alongside the American and European tour dates.

The announcement comes after much speculation and hype of a potential greatest-hits world tour from sources close to Madonna.

In a sly nod to her 1990 film, Truth or Dare, the trailer features Madonna playing raunchy games with her celebrity friends, among them are Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Diplo, Lil Wayne, and Bob the drag queen.

In the trailer, Schumer dares Madonna to go on a greatest hits world tour, performing four decades of her top songs.

Naturally, Madonna accepts the challenge boldly.

“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” she said in a statement.

Madonna’s Celebration global tour will feature the legendary singer’s most iconic songs from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s in ‘the biggest production she’s ever done’.

Produced by Livenation, the tour will span 35 cities, starting from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on July 15 before moving into Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.

In the fall, the tour will cross into Europe including cities like London, Paris, and Stockholm before concluding in Amsterdam on December 1.

The tour did not announce any dates for Asia.

RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen will be the special guest on all the tour dates.

Tickets go live on January 20 at www.madonna.com/tour with presale tickets for Citicard cardmembers and Legacy members of Madonna’s Official Fan Club available on January 17.
