Macron bans all UK transport from entering France

Emmanuel Macron took the decision to ban almost all forms of transport from the UK for 48 hours after a meeting with his exceptional Defense Council on Sunday.

He said it is possible citizens arriving back in France from the UK will have to present negative PCR tests.

Macron himself is self-isolating after testing positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), also said they are not "at the moment" planning to open vaccination centre to the public, and that it is an "organizational challenge".

"At the beginning, the vaccination will be essentially for older people living in homes and for vulnerable caregivers," he said France will start its COVID-19 vaccination program next Sunday.
