M. Nasir has no issue with cover version of "Tiara"

4 Jul – M. Nasir recently stated that he has no issue with the new version of his song, "Tiara", which was recently performed by Indonesian singer, Raffa Affar.

The musician, who composed the song for the band Kris in the '90s, stated that it was not something that should be made into such a big deal.

"A cover version is a normal thing in the industry, so it's not a problem. Even our local talents do it," he said.

As for the netizens' negative response towards the song, M. Nasir stated that it's up to personal preferences.

When mentioned that the cover version ruined the melody and the essence of the song, the singer said, "You can't really control it. I mean, we can take some action, but I think we shouldn't make a big deal out of it. They're still our neighbours."
