Luxury French fragrance company Diptyque launches refillable candle collection in Malaysia

PETALING JAYA, Sept 20 — Light a candle and feel the beauty of the world, that's the promise offered by Diptyque's first refillable candles.

Sixty years after the three founders of Diptyque introduced the scented candle to the world, the luxury French brand has created a five-piece collection of refillable candles.

Called Les Mondes de Diptyque (The Worlds of Diptyque), the collection was recently launched at The Raw Studio in Petaling Jaya, highlighting the five immersive scents through a unique olfactory journey.

The candles are carefully and thoughtfully designed, to blend in with the aesthetics of one's living space.

The vessel comes with an engraved glass lid, which when lifted, reveals a block of scented wax. Once used, it can be replaced by a fresh block.

Five scents are available in the Les Mondes de Diptyque collection, each taking the user to a faraway corner of the world.

Nymphée Merveilles evokes enchanted gardens of the Renaissance palaces of 16th century Italy. La Forêt Rêve is a trip to the Mexican jungle of Las Pozas with a bouquet of tuberose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, vanilla and galbanum.

Temple des Mousses is reminiscent of Kyoto's zen gardens, pairing woody accents with velvety notes of matcha. La Vallée du Temps exudes Jiangxi's verdant tea plantations while Terres Blondes brings us to Mesa in Colorado, hinting at toasty cereal crops.
