I'm a shopping editor, and these Lululemon joggers are secretly the most flattering pants I own
I'm convinced that the cult-favorite Lululemon Align leggings are the gold standard for all stretchy, figure-hugging pants. Between the lush, buttery fabric, unparalleled stretch and the incredible fit, there's plenty to love about the pricey leggings. There's a reason they have so many dupes, after all — they're just that good. However...as much as I adore my Align leggings, I can't say I've been entirely faithful to them. Earlier this year I splurged on a pair of Lululemon Align joggers and, dear reader, it was love at first wear.
Like the leggings, the Align joggers are made out of impossibly soft Nulu fabric, which is a blend of elastane and nylon. They're so light and airy, too, that they're the closest you'll feel to just being naked. Plus, that high rise hits well above the belly button and it never shifts or slides down, so you won't spend your workout or your day fiddling with the hem and trying to pull them over your stomach. Plus, the band lays completely flat, so it virtually disappears even under tight-fitting tees.
One bonus these have over the leggings from the same line? The joggers have two large pockets, plus a smaller mesh pocket within, so you have plenty of space for cards, keys or your wallet. I can even fit my whole hand in there, which is more than I can say for most pant pockets, let alone most leggings.
The joggers are designed for low-impact activities like yoga, stretching, and walks. Unlike leggings, which can bunch or pinch, or wide leg pants that roll up and down based on your position, these stay put, thanks to a sturdy cuff at the ankle. In short: No distractions during your next workout.
Another bonus: The pants have a flattering, heart-shaped seam in the back, which instantly lends a peachy effect to your booty.
They're available in sizes 0–20 in most colors, though some shades only go up to a size 14. They technically fit true to size, but I suggest considering the fit you'd prefer prior to ordering a pair: I (along with many other Lululemon reviewers) suggest opting for a size or two above your go-to. A looser fit makes these look more like most joggers, while opting for your regular size will make them look more like a pair of leggings with large pockets and cuffs (which is still cute, but the look is definitely more leggings than joggers).
They're easy to take clean too — the care instructions note to just machine-wash cold with like colors and tumble-dry low. No need to iron or dry-clean.
The joggers ring in between $118 and $128, though a select few colors and sizes can be had for $89.
"These are the most buttery-soft joggers I’ve ever had and they are so cute," shared one of over 2,700 five-star shoppers.
"These pants are great!" raved another. "They are so buttery and comfortable, I want 10 more pairs! A great option if leggings sometimes make you feel too exposed."
One enthusiastic shopper put it best: "Just go get it! The most stylish and comfy jogger I’ve ever owned! Wish there were lots more colors — I’d get one in each!"
